 Critical thinking is the process of examining information objectively in order to make a well-informed judgment or choice. It requires abilities like detecting and analyzing arguments, determining the reliability of sources, and avoiding logical fallacies, among others. Because it enables people to take into account many viewpoints, question preconceived notions and biases, and effectively communicate, critical thinking is a crucial talent for making wise decisions in a variety of personal, academic, and professional contexts.

Characteristics of critical thinking

1.Active Listening

A communication skill called active listening is paying close attention to and participating in what the speaker is saying, both orally and nonverbally. It is paying full attention to the speaker, noticing and comprehending what they are saying, and offering comments that shows your understanding and empathy.

Active listening is an important ability in good communication since it helps to create trust, strengthen relationships, and avoid misunderstandings. It is especially useful when addressing delicate or complex topics or when emotions are running high.

2.Being Curious

4.Being Humble

When analyzing information and making judgments, humility in critical thinking refers to the readiness to recognize and accept one's own limits, prejudices, and uncertainties. It entails admitting that we do not know everything and that our thoughts and beliefs may need to be revised in light of new data or viewpoints.

Being modest in critical thinking is addressing a topic with an open mind and taking into account many points of view and facts before reaching a judgment. It also entails being willing to accept mistakes and being receptive to constructive criticism and feedback.
